A-UPRT Course – Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy
- Course Booking & Payment
To secure a position on a Vertical Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (A-UPRT) course, a deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid prior to the commencement of the course. Course participation cannot begin until full payment has been received.
Course places are limited and allocated on a first-confirmed basis.
- Course Scheduling
Courses are typically conducted over three consecutive days, consisting of:
- One day of performance, aerodynamics and upset recognition theory
• Two days of airborne training in the EXTRA 330 aircraft
Course schedules may be adjusted due to operational, weather, safety, or regulatory requirements.
- Participant Requirements
Participants must provide the following documentation prior to course commencement:
- Passport copy
• Valid pilot licence
• Valid aviation medical certificate
• Recent logbook entries (if requested)
Participants must be medically fit to undertake flight training and comply with all safety instructions provided by Vertical instructors.
- Weather & Operational Factors
Flight training may be affected by weather, aircraft serviceability, airspace restrictions, or operational safety considerations.
In such cases, flights may be rescheduled within the course window or to the next available training date.
These circumstances do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
- Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the nature of aviation training operations and the allocation of aircraft, instructors, airspace, and regulatory preparation, course fees are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.
This includes circumstances where a participant chooses not to attend due to:
- Personal reasons
• Changes in employment or career plans
• Travel arrangements
• Visa issues
• Regulatory requirements in another country
- Rescheduling
Where possible, Vertical may allow a participant to reschedule their course to a future available date, provided that:
- At least 14 days notice is given prior to the scheduled course start
• Scheduling availability allows
Rescheduling is at the sole discretion of Vertical Advanced Flight Training.
- Failure to Attend
Participants who fail to attend the course without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and the full course fee will be forfeited.
- Safety Authority
All training activities are conducted under the authority of Vertical Advanced Flight Training instructors and operational management.
The instructor has the final authority regarding:
- Flight safety
• Training suitability
• Weather or operational decisions
• Student fitness to fly
- Liability & Compliance
Action Flight Aviation LLC trading as Vertical Advanced Flight Training operates as a GCAA-approved Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and maintains the highest safety and regulatory standards.
Participants agree to comply with all operational procedures and safety requirements.
- Agreement
Payment of the course deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
